The Dutch government programme NOiV organises its annual congress on the 18th of March 2010 in MediaPlaza, Utrecht. In the programme are among others: State Secretary Frank Heemskerk (Economical Affairs), Olle Johansson (Asterisk), the Dutch Police, the municipality of Schijndel, Florian Schiessl (City of München) and the Ministry of Defense.

The organisers ran a poll to let the audience decide which projects would be presented in addition to the base programme. One of those projects that was voted in is the Free Technology Academy. Our colleague Lex Bijlsma, dean from the Computer Science department of the Open University Netherlands, will be presenting what's behind the FTA, it's programme, methodology and plans for the future.
